Lenovo’s Android smartphone line up launched in India

Lenovo have now entered the smartphone market in India and already launched series of smartphones starting at Rs. 6,499. Lenovo launched the A60+, S880, S560, K860 and the p700i models

The giant PC manufacturer, Lenovo, entered the cellular phone market in India by means of bringing out 5 new 3G Android Smartphones. And the interesting fact is that the launch includes high-end to easy on the pocket smartphones. However, after checking out features and specifications of the Smartphones it seems that the Smartphones are meant to be acquainted with the needs of Indian consumers. And it should be mentioned that out of five devices four smartphones feature Dual-SIM capability. The Smartphone are as follow:

Lenovo A60+ (Rs 6,499)

This is the cheapest handset priced at Rs. 6,499 and comes with a 1GHz MTK 6565M processor with PowerVR SGX531 GPU, 3.5 inch WVGA screen – 480×320 pixels with 16m colours. It’s a dual SIM phone with dual standby. The Lenovo A60 runs on the Android 2.3.6 OS and comes with 256MB RAM, supports 3G and 2G. There is a 2MP rear auto focus camera. The battery is of 1500 mAh capacity. Price is about at Rs. 6,499.

Lenovo P700i (Rs 12,499)

The p700i has a 4-inch WVGA screen, a 1GHz (Exynos 4412 Quad-Core processor), dual-SIM capabilities, It Comes with 5-megapixel camera, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and  The battery is of a massive 2500 mAh capacity with an impressive 22 hours talktime.. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it comes for Rs 12,499

Lenovo S560 (Rs 14,499)

The S560 is with MTK 6577 dual-core 1.0 GHz processor , GPU info not known, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. The handset runs on ICS OS and comes with 5MP rear auto focus camera and a front 0.3 MP camera. Its dual SIM with dual standby and with 2000 mAh battery. The IPS display screen is 4 inches 800×480 pixels resolution. Price Starting at about Rs. 14,499.

Lenovo S880 (Rs 18,999)

This one supports dual SIM with dual standby, 3G, 2G and with all other common features. The CPU is MTK 6575 (single core) clocked at 1GHz with Power VR SGX531 GPU. The handset sails on ICS and supports 3G, 2G, other common features, a rear 5MP camera, front VGA camera and 2250 mAh battery with 17 hours talktime. The display screen is 5 inches with 800×480 pixels. RAM is 512MB with 4Gigs of internal storage. Price is About Rs 18,999

Lenovo K860 (Rs 28,499)

The K860 is the flagship model and it is a quad-core monster with an Exynos processor clocked at 1.4GHz at its heart.  Mind you, this the same chip that was used in the Samsung Galaxy S III. Additionally, it has 5-inch display with a 720p resolution, a 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and a 2,250 mAh battery. It also runs of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it costs Rs 28,499.
