Samsung Galaxy S4 to feature 1080p Super AMOLED display and Exynos Adonis processor

The flagship Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone has been available long enough that it’s time we start focusing on its successor. We’ve been hearing whispers and rumors regarding the Galaxy S IV for a few weeks now, but today the details just got a bit more interesting. Reports of a February launch complete with a 13 megapixel camera and more. A Korea Times report suggested a February launch for the smartphone. Samsung of course quickly squashed this rumor, but today Korean website Asiae suggests that Samsung’s next flagship will have a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 1080p resolution and will be powered by a new Exynos Adonis chip, which will have four cores and will be built on the ARM Cortex A15 instruction set. Reports are suggesting Samsung will toss their Exynos 5450 quad-core A15 processor inside this beast. That’s double the 5250 inside the Nexus 10. Equip it with a 13 megapixel rear camera, and of course we’ll enjoy Android with that 4.99-inch true HD Super AMOLED display. Initially we heard strong evidence that the Note II would feature that 13 megapixel camera but supply couldn’t meet Samsung’s demand, so it looks like this time around they’ll be straightened out.

Samsung will be showcasing a dual quad-core mobile processor at the International Solid-Stat Circuits Conference in February next year. The System-on-Chip (SoC) is a 28nm chip, with one quad-core cluster running at 1.8GHz for high performance apps, and the other running at 1.2GHz for energy efficiency. Based on an ARM A15 Cortex setup, this chipset is widely believed to be the one that will power Samsung’s Galaxy S4.

It’s worth noting that the report states that the 1080p Super AMOLED panel is expected to debut at CES 2013, which would mean that the Galaxy S4 would definitely be unveiled after January.

Besides this, the Galaxy S4 will not be the first device to flaunt a 1080p panel as the HTC DNA already has a 5-inch 1080p S-LCD 3 display which totals to 440 ppi. That said the Galaxy S 4 would still match the HTC DNA and plus would have a critical ppi advantage over the iPhone 5 which currently sits on 326 ppi.

Now We Have To Wait & See If The Rumors About Samsung Galaxy S IV Are true, If they Are True That It Will be a New Year Gift For The User Who will Be Delighted To have All These Feature In Samsung Galaxy S IV.
