Leaked: RIM’s BlackBerry 10 L-Series & Dev Alpha 6 Images With Hands On Video

The BlackBerry L-Series smartphone has emerged once again just a day after RIM teased an image of the device on its website. An extensive photo shoot of the device has given a good idea of the hardware of the smartphone and it looks pretty impressive. Read on.

For those that are still firmly in the RIM camp, a slew of new high-resolution pictures of the BlackBerry L-Series smartphone were leaked this evening. When it comes to new product leaks, we’re used to being hit with the “blurry cam” treatment. But surprisingly, these images of this Blackberry are high resolution and capture the L-Series from nearly every angle.

The live images of the BlackBerry 10 flagship device codenamed London reveal a well-built device with a huge touchscreen.

It certainly isn’t too terrible as far as looks are concerned, and there’s plenty to discern from the pictures alone: microSD card slot, 1800mAh battery, 3.5-millimeter headphone jack, micro USB, HDMI and a teenie-tiny microphone under the BlackBerry logo on the front of the device.

The photos show great hardware but it all depends on the OS to handle it and deliver to our expectations

It's not the first time we've seen it on video, but the folks from have now followed up their hands-on look at the BlackBerry 10 L-Series with what's certainly the most detailed video of the smartphone to date. That includes a comparison with the somewhat bulkier Dev Alpha B device (as well as an iPhone 5), a quick run through of the BB10 OS itself and a look at the removable back (which reveals a replaceable battery). Head on past the break to check it out for yourself.
