After the success of Micromax Canvas 2, you might have noticed that Micromax has kept a low profile and has stopped launching any new phones in the market whereas its rivals like Karbonn and others are releasing devices on a regular basis. It is believed that Micromax is working on a new Quad Core phone.
Micromax will be launching a quad core Android smartphone based on MediaTek MT6589 or Broadcom processor in March for around Rs 15,000, Micromax's co-founder and business director, Vikas Jain said to The Mobile Indian. He further said, "The quad core smartphone will have a 4.5 inch qHD IPS display, ICS or Jelly Bean operating system, 8 megapixel camera and 4 GB of internal memory."
Quad core phones are not new, with many phones being launched on Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (Nexus G) and Nvidia Tegra 3 (LG Optimus 4X HD, HTC One X etc) chipsets. But, what is likely to change as a result of this partnership between Broadcom and Micromax is that the quad core phones will have an affordable price tag. On average the price of quad core processor phones from MNC players is around Rs 30,000.
Micromax Canvas 3 Will work on Jeally Bean 4.1 (OS) Because Karbonn is Gearing to launch its Much Awaited Karbonn A24 Which will be Launching in Mid March and Thats Also Works on Latest Android Jeally Bean 4.1 (OS). It’s always a nice feeling to have the latest version of OS in a smartphone. Hopefully, Micromax Canvas 3 will have 1 GB of RAM to exploit. Currently available Canvas 2 is superb. It runs most of the recent games i.e. NFC Most-wanted, MC3, GTA 3 etc but with 1 GB RAM and better GPU Canvas 3 will increase the level of multitasking for even better gaming.
As You Know Micromax Canvas 3 will be a budget Phone so it Can have MediaTek MT6589, As you already know MediaTek MT6589 is best for low-cost handsets.
Micromax Canvas 3 will also Feature 8Mp Rear Camera with 1.3Mp Front and it Said To Have SRS WOW sound enhancement. Well Definitely They Will Look Forward to Sound System Of Device to Make it Better. Well You Never Know Canvas 3 Can Beat Samsung Galaxy S IV With these Specification & Price But This Time Will Tell. I can’t guarantee that all of the features will be there.
Also, Micromax is not the only Indian player who is toying with the idea of launching a quad core smartphone. As The Mobile Indian had earlier reported, Xolo is also mulling a smartphone with Nvidia Tegra 4 quad core processor to be launched around March this year. Another Indian player, Karbonn, had confirmed that its plans to launch a quad core device, based on a MediaTek MT6589 processor, this year. Meanwhile, Bangalore based iBerry has already launched a quad core processor based tablet, Auxus X4, with a Samsung Exynos processor.
