Leaked: Samsung Galaxy Note III Packs With 5.68 inch display, 3GB Ram and 4.3 Jelly Bean

SamMobile, well known for providing the Internet with the best and most accurate leaks on upcoming Samsung devices, has just provided what they are claiming is a final spec sheet for the Galaxy Note III, expected to be unveiled at IFA in just under a month.

The Samsung Galaxy Note III smartphone is likely to be launched before the media during the upcoming Samsung Unpacked event 2013 scheduled for 4th September. While the information about the device and its specifications is not yet confirmed there is a new report on what the Galaxy Note II might have in store for the users.

As per the report, the Samsung Galaxy Note III is coming with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD resolution. Like the Galaxy S4, this smartphone will also come in two versions - first one with an eight-core Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5420 mobile processer and the other will pack quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile processor. The quad core processor is likely to be in the 2 GHz bracket considering the same processor has been clocked at 2.2 GHz by Sony in the Xperia Z Ultra.

The Galaxy Note III will pack 3 GB RAM and will be offered with 16 GB and 32 GB on-board storage capacities. Samsung will also pack the 13 megapixel camera, the one used in Galaxy S4, and a full HD supporting front facing camera in Note III. But as a surprise there is a rumor that Samsung might also be using optical image stabilization for the device; with optical image stabilizer the Note III is likely to gain a few extra pounds but its justified as it will allow to click high quality images.

Of interesting note on storage capacities, SamMobile says most regions will not see a 64GB version of the Note III and that 32GB will be standard. On the physical dimensions, they say that the Note III will be identical in size to the Note II, despite the larger display.

Both models will get Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the latest TouchWiz user interface complete with gesture controls and eyeball tracking features. Possibly, Samsung will also work out the nags in the TouchWiz user interface that featured on the Galaxy S4 and present it better with Note III.

Samsung’s Note series of devices have proved to be quite popular around the globe; there’s little reason to believe the Note III won’t make a huge splash this fall. Still, with competition like a new Nexus phone, the Moto X, the LG G2, a new iPhone and its soon-to-be rival the HTC One Max, the Note III has a tough road ahead of it.
