Moto G Budget Friendly Smartphone With Quad-Core will Be Loaded With Android 4.4 in India

Now, it Looks Like That Motorola has Diverted Their Mind In Making Budget Friendly Smartphone After The Moto X Now Motorola Has Come up With Moto G But This Time what makes it More Especially That it Will Launch in India So you Guyz have Chance to carry it on your hand. The Google-owned handset maker confirmed its intentions to get back into the Indian smartphone market in early January next year.

The Moto G is an affordable smartphone that also comes with water resistant coating. The hardware as well as the outer body is coated with some waterproof chemical that makes it water resistant up to a certain depth. The handset is powered by quad core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 cortex A7 clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 305 GPU. The screen is 4.5 inches supporting 1280×720 pixels resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Motorola will be launching the dual-SIM version of the Moto G in India in early-January 2014, and that the smartphone would be receiving a 'guaranteed' Android 4.4 KitKat the same month, a new report says the model that will ship in India will come pre-loaded with Google's latest iteration of Android. The report quotes Mark Randal, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Operations, Motorola who while replying about Android 4.4 KitKat rollout plans for Moto G said that the company will be shipping the smartphone with Android 4.4 KitKat after Christmas. Considering that in India, the Moto G will be launched next year, in early January, it is quite evident that the device will be running Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

On board RAM is 1GB and internal storage space is 8GB or 16GB (optional). There is no external storage card support. A 1.3MP camera is placed on the front and 5MP AF on the rear with LED flash. This handset can record videos in 720p (HD) resolution at 30 fps. Other common features are 3G, 2G (GPRS/EDGE), Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. There is proximity, accelerometer and magnetic sensors.

Moto G weighs around 143 grams and is 11.6mm thick. The Li-ion battery of 2070 mAh capacity gives a usage time of up to 24 hours with moderate to heavy usage. Further, the report notes that the Motorola Moto G will release in two waves, the first wave includes countries namely Brazil, France, Germany, Mexico and UK, while the second wave includes US, South East Asia and other countries. Randal also revealed that the Motorola Moto G will be launched with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean in first wave countries, though they will also receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update by the end of January.
