Gionee E7 Mini Launched With True Octa-Core Processor & 180 Degree Rotating Camera of 13MP For Rs 18,999

After Launching mid-range Gionee P3, China based smartphone manufacturer Gionee is all set and ready to take on the fight against the brand leaders in the Indian handset market including Samsung, Nokia, HTC and more. Today, the tech vendor will be launching its brand new flagship smartphone Gionee Elife E7 in India, which will be retailed by the end of next month.

The Gionee Elife E7 Mini runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the company's custom Amigo 2.0 UI layer on top, much like the elder sibling Gionee Elife E7. The Gionee Elife E7 is a single SIM device, but the mini-variant supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality.

The mini version of the flagship that will sport a octa-core processor from MediaTek and will have a relatively smaller 4.7inch 720p display. The Gionee Elife E7 mini is powered by the 1.7GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor and has 1GB RAM to support multi-tasking. Gionee is known for its build quality and that is clearly seen in the Gionee Elife E7 mini as it is solidly built.

One of the innovations in the Gionee Elife E7 mini is its 13MP swivel camera that we already saw in Oppo N1, due to  the swivel camera and hence the microUSB port, the 3.5mm audio jack are found on the bottom part of the device.  The new Amigo enables users to choose from five convenient ways to take photos which include Voice control, normal, touch, smile and v-gesture.Its new and improved imaging applications enables users to edit photos, alter colors directly on the phone and create professional looking photos in just seconds. In addition, Elife E7 sports a revolutionary Photo Album that automatically categorizes photos by time, place, facial characterizes, and events; thus, enabling users to find a specific photo in seconds.

Other features include 16GB of internal storage, a non-removable 2,100mAh battery and connectivity options includes dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. On the software front, the device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean wrapped under Gionee’s Amigo UI.

The E7 Mini is priced at a very tempting Rs.18,999. This is definitely bad news for quad core handsets that are selling for over 16K. The Gionee Elife E7 Mini will be available in two colour variants. On Tuesday, Gionee officially unveiled the Elife E7 in India, starting at Rs. 26,999. The Chinese handset maker announced that the smartphone will hit the market by January 15. As Per i Think Gionee Should Have Given External Warranty for its Rotating Camera, What you Say ?
