Intex Aqua Octa with 6-inch Display, True Octa-Core CPU & 13MP Camera Launched For Rs 19,999

Now 2014 Generation will Be All About Octa-Core Processor Smartphone, Gionee Has Already Started To Tackle the Market With Its Latest Sibling Gionee Elife Mini Launched Previous Week And Now Intex Has Come Up with Its Oct-Core Smartphone Called Intex Aqua Octa. Intex Mobiles’ latest flagship, Aqua Octa, one of the first devices to be powered by MediaTek’s new true octa-core chipset, MT6592, went on sale earlier today at online retailer Snapdeal. And now, the company has officially taken the wraps of the device, bringing it to the masses for Rs. 19,999.

The Intex Aqua Octa is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with a 6-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD OGS (One-Glass Solution) IPS display. The Intex Aqua Octa is powered by the MediaTek's much-touted MT6592 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM.

Imaging responsibilities are handled by a 13 megapixel auto-focusing camera assisted by an LED flash, while a 5 megapixel front facing shooter should take care of your video calls and ‘selfies’( The Person Who Takes His Own Photo & Upload It On Social Sites Called ‘Selfies’ )

On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua Octa includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The phablet packs a 2300mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for six hours of talktime and 180 hours on standby mode. In terms of storage, the Aqua Octa Octa gets 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded to up to 32GB using a microSD card and an additional 5GB of storage on Intex cloud.

The device also comes preloaded with apps like Intex’s Matrabhasha, Intex Play, Intex Game Club, BigFlix, NQ Mobile Security, OLX, Opera mini, WeChat and Zapak. The device is available on e-commerce site Snapdeal and will hit retail stores later this month on January 15. It will Be Competing Against Gionee Elife Mini
