Micromax to Launch 4G LTE Smartphone's Equip with Tegra Quad Core Processor

Micromax is now ready to catapult 4G smart phones in India in the upcoming weeks. A new tweet by the leakster @LeaksterInc revealed the purported smartphone of Micromax, which is reportedly in the work. The tweet also disclosed that the forthcoming Micromax 4G smartphone will be powered by a Nvidia Tegra 4i processor.

The leaked image reveals a smartphone, which looks exactly like French smartphone maker Wiko Mobile’s Wax smartphone. Like this upcoming Micromax phone, Wiko Wax is also powered by Tegra 4i processor. We believe that the leaked Micromax device is a re-branded smartphone and has mostly likely been built by some OEM under the orders of NVIDIA for both smartphone vendors, like the company did with Tegra Note tablet.

Micromax phone to bear 4.7” inches display with 720X1280 screen resolution which will enhance the picture quality and the images will be now much more clear, crispy and colorful. The screen will be covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating and will run on Nvidia Tegra 4i processor.

On the hardware front it is using the quad core Cortex A9 1.7GHz Tegra 4i chipset running Android OS 4.3 with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. There is micro SD card support too (32GB). The single SIM (micro SIM) handset also includes a 5MP camera on the front and an 8MP AF on the rear with LED flash and 2000 mAh battery. It comes with preloaded apps such as Games

Micromax 4G smartphone will probably be released in Russian market first, followed by an Indian debut, which makes sense given the availability 4G LTE networks in Russia, while they are still a scarcity in India.
