Hello New Moto G, Launched with 8Mp Camera and Expandable Storage at Rs 12,999

Motorola has refreshed its smartphone lineup, introducing new versions of Moto X and Moto G smartphones. While the new Moto G is more of an evolutionary upgrade, the next-generation Moto X brings with it a number of radical changes. It will be not wrong to say it totally rewrote the rules of the budget segment when it was Introduce in the Market.

As far as the specifications go, the new Moto G has a 5-inch 720p IPS display with Corning Glass, up from the 4.5-inch of the previous version.  Just like its predecessor, the new Moto G comes with a nano coating on the inside and outside to protect the smartphone against the accidental splash of water. The Moto G runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is scheduled to receive the L update. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM.

The new Moto G features an 8-megapixel rear shooter, which has been bumped up from the 5-megapixel shooter on its predecessor and 2MP front facing camera (the older Moto G featured a 1.2MP front facing camera). The smartphone is available in 16GB version. It also supports microSD upto 32Gb for additional storage, Thank God (Moto Is listening your request)

For connectivity, the new Moto G supports dual-SIM, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB. The new Moto G is powered by a 2070 mAh battery. The smartphone also has dual speakers. Motorola has worked on all shortcomings we noticed in the first-generation Moto G, most importantly the limited storage space and below-par camera performance and has been priced aggressively at Rs 12,999.
