Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, What the Heck! Innovative Smartphone Announced

Welcome to the Future! Samsung introduced its new Galaxy Note Edge smartphone. A weird smartphone with weird features and especially the display. You can also called it as a relating of Note 4, as both looks very identical with a major difference.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and Note 4 have been packed with similar specifications, but the Note Edge features a slant on the right side of its display screen, which Samsung is using to show information, apps and other notifications. It is the extra part of your smartphone’s display, which even looks cool sometimes. It will be more attractive to hold when you are with you friends or taking a walk with you Note Edge smartphone.

The curved part of the Note Edge’s display is independent of the main screen, but it’s also a fully functional touchscreen. in fact, Samsung has moved the traditional apps shortcuts found on the bottom of its phones’ home screens — such as the dialer, your contacts, Web browser, camera, and others — to the Edge’s side screen

The Edge’s side screen works with a variety of different apps, too. So you swipe through to see things like Twitter updates, the number of steps you’ve taken in a day, the latest sports scores, news, and a host of other notifications.

Beyond its side screen, The Galaxy Note Edge flaunts a 5.6-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. That means it’s bright and detailed, and far better than the 1920 × 1080 resolution screens found on most smartphones. Text, photos, and videos you view with the Edge look incredibly sharp.

Other specifications include 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 420 GPU or an Exynos 5433 octa-core processor (1.9GHz quad-core+1.3GHz quad-core), depending upon the region, depending upon the region, 3GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.

The other exception is a smaller battery — 3,000mAh. On the software front, it too runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. As far as specifications are concerned, the Galaxy Note Edge is quite similar to the standard Galaxy Note 4. As for dimensions, the smartphone is 3.8mm wider and 2.2mm shorter than the standard variant.
