Panasonic New move shows that its Moving toward the budget Phablet and recently launched a new Panasonic budget phablet, P55 with tempting price at Rs 10,290. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 32GB. Phablet has a tile patterned back cover and is 7.9mm thick. It weighs 148gram.
It’s equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture, and a 2-megapixel front-facing unit. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat and offers software features like "Tap Play" to recognize touch while in sleep mode, "Gesture Play", a gesture based feature to launch apps directly from home screen, "Pop-i Player" to multi-task while playing videos and a single hand operable music player named "Music cafe".
Further specs include a 2500 mAh removable battery, and connectivity options include support for 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The phone also has a 3.5-mm audio jack and FM radio. The phone comes in Black or Pearl White color options. The smartphone will be available in India from the first week of November, 2014 at a price of Rs. 10,290.
