Xiaomi Launched Redmi Note 3G and 4G variants for under Rs 10K; Which one Should i Pick ?

Xiaomi Really take their Pledge “Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen” very seriously that’s why they had surprise which is hard to guess it out because everytime they think to provide something exceptional in the crowd that makes then Unique. Xiaomi this time also surprise with not one but two Redmi Note giving as optional.

Xiaomi has today launched the Android phablet at an event in New Delhi. Xiaomi has said that it has sold over 10 million Redmi Note handsets globally. Xiaomi has partnered with Airtel India for the 4G enabled Redmi Note. Well the registrations for the flash sales (3G variant) will begin tomorrow on Flipkart. The Note with 4G will supports TDD-LTE 2300 and FDD-LTE 1800 bands.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Redmi Note 3G flaunts a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Mediatek MT6592 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

On the photography front, the phablet features a 13-megapixel autofocus camera at the back with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfie lovers. Additionally, the Redmi Note also features 8GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, and a 3,100mAh battery (support for fast-charging), which according to the company is good enough for 14 hours of 3G Internet usage and 775 hours on standby mode.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and on the software front sadly it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean wrapped under MIUI version 5.

The Redmi Note 4G is similar to the 3G variant except a few details like this variant will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor with Adreno 305 GPU. Conectivity wise, this variant supports FDD-LTE at 1800MHz, TDD-LTE at 2300MHz and dual-band LTE, and only comes with a single SIM card slot. The big change in comparison to Redmi Note 3G is that this device runs on KitKat on MIUI V5 and there is no need to mention that it is a 4G device currently subscribe with Airtel 4G

Additionally it will also be sold by Airtel. The network operator will sell the smartphone via its flagship stores across six cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai. Buyers will however have to pre-register online at to buy the phablet from an Airtel store. 

The Redmi Note is priced at Rs 8,999, which is Rs 1,000 lower than what Xiaomi had announced in July and Redmi Note 4G variant is priced at Rs 9,999, and will go on sale in the second half of December. This makes the Redmi Note 4G the cheapest 4G dual-band device in India. Xiaomi has indicated that both devices might get it Android L soon after the Mi series devices do thats probably indicate that Note 3G Variant will get Kitkat update along with Redmi1S. The phablet will go on sale on Flipkart on December 2, with pre-orders kicking off at 6.00PM tomorrow.

Xiaomi has added battery encryption systems on the Note this means you cannot use fake or duplicate batteries. There is nothing to look between two as Note 4G is one and only to choose with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android Kitkat plus 4G it also support upto 64Gb sd card only for Rs 1000 extra.  Xiaomi revealed that the Mi 4 will be launching in India early next year.
