Samsung Galaxy Grand Max launched with 5.2inch HD Display, 13Mp Camera with 4G LTE Support at Rs 15,990

Well Samsung were lacking behind but they are now back in track with their new Range of 4G device to be called as Samsung Galaxy Grand Max. Samsung has silently launched Galaxy Grand Max, its budget phablet offering in India at Rs 15,990.  The phone has been listed on e-commerce marketplace Snapdeal but is not available for purchase at the moment.

Samsung has been teasing the launch of the Galaxy Grand Max phablet for the past week or so. One of the talking points about the phablet is its LTE network support. As far as specifications are concerned, the Galaxy Grand Max flaunts a 5.25-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) TFT display with a pixel density of 282ppi.

Powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor and 1.5GB RAM, the smartphone comes with 16GB internal storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. Galaxy Grand Max runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung's TouchWiz UI skin on top.

The phablet also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor and LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a 120 degree wide viewing angle lens. The Galaxy Grand Max packs a 2,500mAh battery, and includes connectivity options like dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Samsung has also announced that it will launch two new smartphones, the Galaxy J1 4G and the Galaxy Core Prime 4G in India next month. The Galaxy J1 4G will be priced somewhere around INR 9,900 (~ $160), but there is no word on the official pricing of the Galaxy Core Prime 4G. Samsung is trying to attract smartphone buyers by offering 4G LTE compatible smartphones in India, since the local carriers have started rolling out 4G LTE connectivity based on FD-LTE and TDD-LTE technologies

As expected, the smartphone will be exclusively available on Snapdeal in Grey and White colors. Samsung Galaxy Grand will tackle Newly YU Yureka and Redmi Note 4G but at Rs 15,990 I don’t think it will be successful.
