Apple Watch will launch in India in Q2 at base price of Rs 30K to go over beyond 10 Lacks for Gold Edition

Today the Whole World is talking about the Next Generation Apple Watch recent launched in event in San Francisco. The Apple watch is very unique in every aspect whether it feature or their different straps. The Watch comes with a number of features and will be available for sale in nine countries starting April 10

The Watch brings with it a number of features including a convenient payment system with a tap on your wrist, as well as hotel and car key replacements.

The Apple Watch can be paired with iPhones with the help of an app which will roll out with the iOS 8.2 update. The OS update is available for download from today. The app will also be available in the App Store for download.

The Apple Watch comes with a host of new features. One such feature is called ‘Glances’. The feature will allow you to check things very quickly and frequently. It gives you quick information on swipe up and see the weather, calendar, control music, heart rate and much more. It gives you incoming call alerts and even lets you receive phone calls. It lets you read full email, and even mark, flag and delete them.

The Apple Watch tracks your daily movement, how long exercising or getting brisk activity. Individual workouts can be controlled via Workout app which collects your run time, heart rate and other individual activities.

Apple also showcased a bunch of apps on the Apple Watch including Starwood Hotels’ preferred Guests app. The app not only allows users to see their reservation information, but also use the Watch as a room key and tap on it to open the door. While we assume this feature will only be available at select hotels, it is only a matter of time before more of them follow the suit. Passbook on the Apple Watch, you can quickly pull up your plane tickets right on your Watch.

Launched in three variants (Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition) and two sizes (38 mm and 42 mm), the Apple Watch will be priced between USD 349 (over Rs 21,800) to a whopping USD 17,000 (Rs 10.66 lakh) for the gold model Wao! At that cost I can afford Mahindra Scorpio will be tougher than a Watch. 

The Apple Watch Edition is available in either 18-karat gold or rose gold. Apple claims it will have all day battery and battery is removable also.

India will have to wait longer to get their hands on the Apple Watch as the country does not feature in the nine countries chosen by the iconic brand to unveil its much-awaited Smartwatch. However, the US-based firm will make the Apple Watch available from April 10 for preview in its home ground as well as China, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the UK. According to analysts, the Apple Watch may cost well over Rs 30,000 for the base model in India. The watch is expected to hit market in July this year.
