Bajaj has been facing difficult time while selling their bikes only Discover is showing great Response while other bike are commenced to be falling short in the Market, But soon it can be changed as Pulsar RS200 is here to top the Charting list of Bajaj. We have been looking at spy pictures of the Pulsar RS 200 and the Pulsar 200 AS since ages and finally the time has come when the company will launch these products.

The company has commenced production for both the bikes at its plant in Chakan, Pune and they are gearing up for the strong demand that the bike will generate right after launch. The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is being claimed to be the fastest Pulsar yet according to the company’s new advertisements teaser
The RS 200 looks very good and Bajaj also has a good reputation when it comes to after-sales as well as reliability. Once the RS 200 gets launched, the company will start preparing the 200 AS to hit our market.

Bajaj is using almost the same mechanicals as the Pulsar 200 NS on the Pulsar RS 200 and 200 AS. The bikes are powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The FI version of this engine gives out 24.4 PS of power at 9500 RPM and 18.6 Nm of peak torque at 8500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.

Interestingly, the teaser video reveals that the Pulsar RS200 will receive ABS! As you can see in the photograph above, an ABS ring can be spotted on the front wheel. Moreover, an ABS symbol can also be seen on the instrument cluster. We believe that to cater to a larger audience, Bajaj will offer ABS as an optional extra and not as a standard fitment. Expect to see the ABS variant to carry a premium of upto Rs 15,000-20,000.

Other features include a pair of LED pilot lights around the top edge of the projector headlights, a two piece LED tail light and KTM style LED turn indicators.

Some dealers have started accepting the bookings for the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the deliveries are expected to begin after the launch scheduled on March 26, 2015. The Pulsar RS 200 will be competing directly with the Yamaha R15 and we expect it to be priced at Rs. 1.15 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the base model and approximately.
