Gallery: Xiaomi MiPad launched at Rs 12,999 will be available from 24th March

As we have previously told you about Mi Pad launching in this Month and Xiaomi has just done that entering into Table segment which is topped by iBall. As expected today Xiaomi introduces the much-awaited MiPad in Indian Market and pricing it more aggressively toward other so that they can submerge the Kingdom & Glory of Samsung & iBall which they have created in the absence of Xiaomi

The MiPad has a 7.9-inch Sharp display with an eye-popping resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and a pixel density of 324 ppi. It uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The device is powered by a 2.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 192-core Kepler GPU and runs on Android-based MIUI ROM optimized for tablets. It is paired with 2GB of RAM. 

It sports an 8MP rear camera with Sony BSI sensor for full-HD resolution videos, along with a 5MP front snapper at the top of the display for selfies and video chats.

At 9.4mm, the Mi Pad is thin and weighs just 360g. The table is juiced up by a 6700mAh battery that keeps the device running all day long. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Sorry No Sim Slot

The Xiaomi Mi Pad will be available for purchase on March 24 and there will be no flash sale for this device, the tablet will be available for buyers without the need for registrations. Potential customers can buy the gadget through e-commerce website Flipkart. 

The Mi Pad comes in six colour options – Black, White, Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. The device is priced at Rs 12,999. For now, only the white model will be available.
