Mahindra New Mojo with Dual-Tone body Caught Testing, Can be priced Aggressively

We all know that Someday at Sometime Mahindra will launch their Mojo but when? Even God also don’t know about it but the latest Bajaj Pulsar mania has triggered the alarm in rivals Motor Company that’s why we recently heard of TVS Draken 300cc readying up to launch and Now it’s time for Mojo to counter part in Indian Market

The Newely Mojo bike was spotted doing test runs on the old Mumbai-Pune highway. It has been over half a decade of research and development but there are still no indications about the launch of this 295cc motorcycle from Mahindra yet. The test mule did not have an engine protective underbelly that was showcased at the Auto Expo but we expect to see this part installed on the final product.

Meanwhile, the motorcycle continues to pile on test miles. The red-white dual-tone paint job was showcased at the Auto Expo last year. Mahindra could be planning to introduce the dual-tone Mojo as a special limited edition while the regular versions will be available in black and red color options.

The rear end gets a clear glass tail light which seems to be a LED unit. The riding stance, with high raised handlebar and relatively forward set footpegs, should give the rider a straight forward seating position. The Mahindra Mojo gets a single piece seat instead of a modern split units. The two-tone seat of the motorcycle in picture appears to be well cushioned for comfortable rides. The seat lock key hole is placed on the left, side panel of the motorcycle

Stopping power will be provided by a large, ventilated petal disc at the front and a conventional disc unit at the back. Steel braided brake lines offer a premium look and better utility to the motorcycle.

Mahindra Mojo is expected to be powered by a 295cc, four stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine with Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC). The engine is likely to deliver 27 bhp of power and 25Nm of torque and will come mated to a 6 speed gearbox. Let me tell it will be the one of the fastest bike.

However, recently, this motorcycle was exported to United Arab Emirates and according to India import and export data website,, a single unit of the Mojo was priced at Rs 1.25 lakh.If these reported prices are true, the Mahindra Mojo will be one of the most affordable performance motorcycle in the Indian two-wheeler market. Its closest rival, the KTM Duke 200, is priced at nearly Rs 1.50 lakh. Mahindra Mojo will be launched in June.
