Yep. YU has launched the YuFit band, with an accompanying app. After the launching of Yuphoria Rahul Sharma talks about health stats in India and after that he introduces the YUFit band that will soon going to take on MiBand

What the best part of YuFit band is that it has displays compare to MiBand. Yes The band has an OLED display and gives you alerts on incoming calls, messages, and even helps you find your phone.  It work with YUFit app Besides the standard step tracker, sleep tracker, and phoone finding, the YUFIT app is tied up with HealthifyMe app. You can click a picture of your food and it calculates your calorie intake for that meal. Even suggests a healthier alternative. 

Another big USP of the band is that it even tracks Indian food, a first in this space. There is an offer to free personal trainer for the first 1000 YuFit users. Yes, I mean YU, fattie. The YuFit band will cost Rs 999. Seems like these guys paid close attention to the Mi4i launch and its MiBand pricing too.

Indian foods also included in the list of band tracker, and when you click on images of the food, by uploading it using the app, you’ll be able to find the numbers of calories you consumed. The Yu’s YuFit can track your fitness activities, including group coaching, challenges, social fitness network, achievements et al. Coaches available on call to guide, listen to feedback and motivate you, which apparently lets you keep track of your weight.

This device is an open platform and can work with any smartphone. Yu CEO and Founder Rahul Sharma also gave a live demo of the device measuring body vitals. With a single click, the ECG can be sent to the doctor.
