500th!! Well we think that the recent launch of Galaxy S6 Edge and iPhone 6 plus have made Microsoft little not a whole some Worry and make their night sleepless. Well if that is the case then Microsoft is getting ready to take on this battleship in whole new Level.
Microsoft is considering a new display design for its future smartphones, similar to what Samsung did with the Galaxy S6 edge. Microsoft will launch new high-end Lumia handsets this year, likely once the phone version of Windows 10 is ready to roll out.
A picture posted on Twitter by NowhereElse’s Steve Hemmerstoffer shows a Windows handset with a display that’s clearly curved. As Neowin points out, the device is also marked proto.nokia.com, which seems to indicate the design belongs to Nokia’s mobile division that was acquired by Microsoft last year, predating the purchase.
Even more revealing are the curved edges on the screen. In the past, Nokia has played with 2.5D displays that curve very slightly e.g. Lumia 920 and Lumia 930, but these look to be full-on sweeping drop offs. The Rumours claims that the new Lumia smartphones will have 64-bit processors and a triple-LED flash for the rear camera. The report says one of the phones has the code name "Talkman". Here are its rumored specs:
- 5.7 inch QHD display
- Qualcomm-based 6 core processor
- 3GB of RAM
- 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot
- 20MP rear camera
- 5MP front facing camera,
- 3300 mAh removable battery
