New TVS Apache! based upon Draken Concept caught on testing

Yes we all are waiting to see all new Apache bike which are currently rusting in engine and design from several years. Now it look like the time has come to reveal the New Apache caught on testing on the NH-5 and the best part of it that it is based upon the New Draken concept.

To be launched in the next couple of months September, the next generation TVS Apache test mule gets the same curved shaped 5-spoke alloy wheels as the Draken concept, front mudguard design and petal shaped disc brakes at the front and rear.

The bike gets sharp looking turn indicators while an LED tail light will also be present. The rear view mirrors seen on the spy shot came from the outgoing Apache which could be only for the test mule. The bike also gets split seats, similar to the concept version. As told by spotter the headlight had the resemblance of hero's impulse.

In terms of power, the 2016 TVS Apache will draw power from a 200cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out around 28 BHP and 20 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. TVS will be loading its upcoming flagship offering with a host of features including fat forks, monoshock suspension and a digital console that also gets an analog tachometer. Also expect to see an underbelly exhaust on the new Apache while ABS will be offered as optional

While we cannot neglect that it can be a New Draken Bike as told by us in our previous report, to be powered by with a 250cc, liquid-cooled motor which was claimed to deliver 39PS peak power at 12,000rpm and 23Nm maximum torque at 9,500rpm. TVS may tune down these performance figures for better fuel economy.  Don’t forget to share your own thoughts threw comments
