It has been 50 year long when the German Borgward brand has stopped the production of their Cars after selling more than 1 Million Bogward cars due to Borgward declared bankruptcy in 1961 but the thing now has been changed Bogward has again come to Life with BX7 SUV.

Well, the Bremen-based company made luxury cars up until bankruptcy in 1961, hitting a sales peak in the Fifties. It sold over a million cars, a mix of saloons and sports cars, including the pretty and quite Porsche-like 1500 Hansa coupe, which competed at the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Borgward, is currently in the midst of a reviving process together with the Chinese company Foton Motor. The project dates as back as 2008, but an official model has only been shown this month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The BX7 SUV proportionally similar to the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC, the front fascia sports a large bar grille with a prominent Borgward badge. The sloping roofline of the SUV meets the boot-mounted rear spoiler. he side profile is clean and has an imposing stance while the rear also gets a stylish design. The interiors of the BX7 have the same German feel that is present in the Teutonic trio.

However, the BX7 has been built from the ground up, which fully deserves our respect. It comes with a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine with unknown origins but very well known power output: 224 hp and 300 Nm (222 lb-ft) of torque. The SUV shape is honored by a four-wheel drive system working together with a dual-clutch gearbox. The vehicle gets an AWD system and also an advanced infotainment system.

It comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen display that will house most of the car's controls and features, together with a smaller display fitted inside the instrument cluster. The Borgward BX7 will use analogic dials and will offer seating for up to seven people. Borgward has also introduced an in-car connectivity system called 'Multiple Interaction'.

The Hybrid Version will also be Introduced later on using the same 2.0-liter turbo engine in conjunction with an electric motor. Total output would jump to 401 hp with the battery pack able to offer a 34-mile (55 km) electric-only range.
