Report: Xiaomi looking to Introduce their first Notebook to take on Apple

Xiaomi doesn’t want to leave no stone unturned in the field of technology, after Ruling the Smartphone Kingdom in China, Now Xiaomi all eyes towards ruling the PC Market. Xiaomi is considering introducing a laptop as early as Next year.

According to Taiwan's "Electronic Times" reported that the Xiaomi is planning to launch a notebook in 2016, and is currently working with the Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) partners British industry, Xiaomi have teamed up with Foxconn once again to build a laptop computer that will launch in China in 2016.

According to a Bloomberg News report out of South Korea. Xiaomi has been in talks with Samsung to supply memory chips, says the report, and the Korean giant may also provide displays.

Since 15 inches is China's mainstream notebook market size, so Xiaomi likely to release a 15-inch notebook, and said to use the Linux operating system while they might go with Window 10 for International Version. 

Xiaomi’s notebook may go on sale in the first quarter to compete with such premium computers as Apple’s MacBook Air and Lenovo’s ThinkPad. The Xiaomi notebook is to be priced at 2999 yuan (Rs 30,000) is expected (US $ 471).
