Today Xiaomi Introduced the Mi 4c in China but that’s not the only think that Xiaomi has Introduced, along with Mi4c Xiaomi also introduces their latest Bluetooth Speaker. Xiaomi has forayed into MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator) with its new Mi Mobile scheme which was launch alongside the Bluetooth speaker & Mi 4c earlier today.
Xiaomi has updated their current generation Bluetooth speaker with an all metal body, and promise to fit in your pocket. The Mi Bluetooth Speaker is the size of a pencil case and features an aluminum body. The speaker offers 90dB(A) @0.5m sound and features built-in microphone. It also feature a a built-in bass radiator.
It is Powered by a 1500mAh battery, the speaker is claimed to offer up to 8 hours of music playback. It comes with microSD card support. The pricing in China is Rs 2000(US$31) available in various colour.
Along with Mi Bluetooth speaker, Xiaomi has also introduced (Mobile virtual network operator) service. Xiaomi has announced MVNO services with ‘Mi Mobile’, a service which basically simplifies carrier packages for consumers. The idea behind Mi Mobile service according to Xiaomi is to ‘do away with complex carrier packages and offer a simple and transparent pricing structure’
The consumers which are interested in Mi Mobile can purchase Mi Mobile SIM cards online, and they’ll get a triple-cut SIM card as part of the package, so that you can use it no matter if you need a nano, micro or mini SIM card.
Plans will be of two kinds, bundles and pay-as-you-go billing. Xiaomi is offering Mi Mobile ‘Pay As You Go’ and ‘3GB Data Bundle for RMB 59 per month (under $10)’ plans. The former supports Chian Unicom’s 2G, 3G and 4G networks, costs RMB 0.10 (under $0.02) per voice minute, SMS and 1MB data, and will be available on Mi.com starting September 23rd. The latter, on the other hand, supports China Telecom 2G, 3G and 4G networks, is equipvalent to RMB 0.02/MB for data, and costs RMB 0.10 per voice minute, SMS or 1MB data exceeding 3GB. This plan will be available in public beta starting this October, for those of you who are interested.
