Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL launched in India with New Technology Inside

Microsoft has been very soft towards the market until they make a Hard come back with the New Lumia high-end series - the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL with new feature and Window 10 on board recently launched in India….

The Lumia 950 which is a regularly-sized smartphone sports a 5.2-inch OLED display with 564 ppi supporting 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD) resolutions; screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection and Qualcomm 6-core Snapdragon 808. It is running Windows 10 Mobile with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and there is micro SD card slot to add additional storage of up to 200GB

A 20 MP primary camera with ZEISS Optics packed on the rear, along with OIS and triple LED flash support (to balance out brightness). Front camera is 5MP fixed focus and supports wide angle selfies. This Microsoft Lumia 950 handset can shoot 4K videos.

Meanwhile, the Lumia 950 XL is an offering for phablet lovers that comes with a 5.7" QHD screen with Quad HD resolution – 2560 x 1440 pixels, screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and the beefier Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB on board RAM and same 32GB storage and micro SD card slot that supports up to 200GB external cards.

On the camera specification, a 20MP PureView primary camera with triple LED flash and 4K recording capabilities. Front camera is 5MP fixed focus with wide Selfie support. This handset also supports Windows Continuum and Windows Hello Beta. 

Its Continuum feature, which is basically going to allow the user to get a true desktop experience out of their phone. Well the help of a small dock, to which you connect all of your peripherals like a monitor, keyboard and mouse, that's how. The rest is just a matter of connecting your Lumia phone to the dock, and you have a desktop-grade interface complete with a task bar, Start menu, and more importantly – desktop programs for Office, Outlook mail, and pretty much anything else that has been designed to be a universal program.

Both phones USB Type-C connector. Microsoft Lumia 950 XL gets power from a 3340 mAh battery and Lumai 950 gets from 3000mah with fast charging capabilities – 50% in just about 30 minutes.

The smartphones will go on sale on December 11 via Amazon India, as well as offline via stores like Croma and Reliance Digital. Microsoft is also offering a free Display dock (as seen in the picture) – worth Rs 5,999 ($100) to users who pre-order either of the two smartphones. The Lumia 950 smartphones is priced at Rs 43,699 ($728), and Lumia 950XL Rs 49,399 ($748).
