Well after Google made Android 6.0 Marshmallow official, soon after all other manufacturers such as HTC, Sony, Motorola, Honor, LG and Lenovo announced timeline and devices that will be getting the Android update. While Samsung still hasn’t opened their trump cards.
Recently, Times News UK leaked about Samsung smartphones that are set to get the update along with their timeline. The First phase will belong towards flagship smartphones and other for the mid-range ones.
In the first phase, the recently released Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 will be treated with the update in December. The slightly older Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will receive the update in January next year; whereas the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge there were released last year will be updated in February.
The second phase includes A-series smartphones such as the Galaxy A8, A7, A5, A3 and E-Series smartphones such as the E7 and E5. However, there is no estimate date for these smartphones.
