Suzuki GSX-R250 spied at final assembly plant in Japan

Sharing is Awesome!

The first images of Suzuki Gixxer 250 surfaced online
recently snapped at a factory in Japan. These spy pictures has much more for
revealing whether it’s styling, looks, machine etc. We have to agree that motorcycle
looks more aggressive and sporty than the Gixxer and Gixxer SF of the Indian
markets and there is no harm if we add Pulsar RS200 also in this list.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 look to be inspired by its big brother
GSX-in terms of triangular headlamp while the sculpted fuel tank merges well
into the sporty split seats with a tail up design. The fairing has been taken
from smaller brother Gixxer SF bit it looks more aggressive in this bike.
The Suzuki GSX-R250 gets upgraded to clip-on handlebars
while the instrument cluster is identical to the one on the Gixxer 155 but is
expected to be loaded with more information. The instrument cluster and its
placement on the bike remains same as the 155cc Gixxers.

Suzuki Gixxer powertrain has still remain secret for us but
if reports are too believed, its powertrain remain similar to the Suzuki
Inazuma which is 248 cc liquid-cooled inline-twin engine that makes 26 PS of power and
24 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. We also expect to see fatter
telescopic front forks and a stiffer monoshock setup at the rear while braking
performance will include front and rear disc brakes with ABS as optional.
The Suzuki Gixxer 250 is expected to be showcased at the
upcoming 2016 Auto Expo were we will cover it for you. It will go head on with
the upcoming Hero HX250R and price are to believe on budget side at INR 1.60
($2,424)
