As Apache 200 launch coming nearer and nearer reported to be on January 20, more & more test mules are being spotted on the road’s and latest one’s comes from Bangalore by Motorbeam reader. This time it’s more than a test mules actually it is a production ready Apache 200.
Well 2016 TVS Apache 200 looks more to be inspired by TVS Draken by looking at the camouflaged test mule. We already Know TVS Apache 200 To Get Pirelli Tyres, it will come with IRC Roadwinner tyres while the Pirelli rubber could be seen on the more premium variants that will also get dual-channel ABS.
If you look at the test mule the chiselled fuel tank looks to be heavily inspired or took off from TVS Draken concept, while its equip with split seats, W-shaped grab rail, clear lens indicators, LED tail lights and a rather long rear mudguard. The images also show the aluminium foot pegs, engine cowl and the chrome finished telescopic forks up front while DRLs should be added to the package as well and equipped with clip-on handlebars contrary to a single-piece unit.
The TVS Apache 200 is expected to be powered by a 200cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with oil-cooling that will be tuned for around 25 BHP and 22 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Telescopic forks do duty up front with a monoshock unit at the rear while braking performance will come from the disc brakes at the front and rear. While the exhaust system look temporarily will get a new one when its get launched.
