Xiaomi Mi 5 confirmed to Feature Snapdragon 820 inside but wont be the first one to flaunt it

Xiaomi Mi 5 is to be one of the most awaiting Smartphone of
the 2016 finally it’s going to launch this winter making full stop to every rumour
as it has created back in 2015. Today Xiaomi executive has confirmed the News that
Mi 5 will be featuring the Snapdragon 820 underneath it.

Liwan Jiang, the co-founder and Senior VP of Xiaomi revealed
via his official Weibo account that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will fuel by Snapdragon 820.
The company’s co-founder also confirmed that their new flagship won’t be
announced in January, he said that the phone will launch after the Chinese New
Year, which means it will launch at the end of February.
Additional LeTV takes the limelight from Xiaomi Mi 5 and
also pole position from Mi 5 of being the first and one of kind Smartphone to
be equipped by Snapdragon 820 as LeTV Le Max pro will be the first to support
Snapdragon 820, announced by QUALCOMM.

In another post, he also revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 5 most
likely won’t feature Qualcomm’s Sense ID 3D fingerprint sensor. The company
reportedly gave up on the sensor at the last minute. Instead, the phone will
come with a traditional sensor. While the company will probably release a model
with Sense ID on board sometime in the second half of 2016. It could be the
very own Mi Note 2 with 5.7inch Display we will get all details as soon as
possible. 
Xiaomi Mi 5 is said to sport a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440)
display along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage options. The handset
will pack in a 3,000+mAh battery on the inside, and a 16-megapixel shooter is
said to be available on its back. The 8-megapixel snapper is rumored to be
available up front, and the phone will ship with Android-based MIUI 7.X OS out
of the box. As we told you that Sense ID is missing you will find an ordinary Fingerprint
Scanner. As per pricing is said to have a price tag of Rs 24,000 ( $360).
