Apple new 4-inch iPhone SE is said to feature 12Mp rear camera

In past we have shared many leaked images of Apple 4-inch iPhone were we also managed to show you the glimpse of Apple 4-inch iPhone Final units hands-on-picture. According to reports, Apple would be naming its new 4-inch handset the Apple iPhone SE. If true, it would be the first iPhone not to have a number in its name since the very first Apple iPhone was launched in 2007.

Apple is expected to equip the phone with the Live Photos feature that allows users to see a 3-second video clip of their latest photograph. It might disappoint you that the new iPhone SE will be lacking 3D touch. 

Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI securities reveals that Apple’s upcoming 4-inch iPhone SE will pack an 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, a notable upgrade from the 8 megapixel camera some previous reports alluded to. 

Kuo’s report also State that Apple’s new 4-inch iPhone will come with an NFC chip for Apple Pay functionality, the same A9 processor Apple introduced with its iPhone 6s models, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. One will come with 16GB of internal storage, the other will feature 64GB of storage. 

iPhone SE will come with a slightly larger battery relative to the iPhone 5s, The iPhone SE expected to be powered by a 1642mAh battery. With respect to pricing, Kuo believes that the iPhone SE will cost anywhere between $400 and $500, decidedly lower than the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus which retail for $649 and $749 respectively.

As Apple iPhone SE set to release, the report adds that Apple will cut the price of the 2+ year old iPhone 5s in half, down to $225. Originally thought to be taking place on March 15th, the Apple media event that will introduce the 4-inch Apple iPhone SE is now believed to be taking place on Tuesday, March 22nd.
