Finally, Xiaomi has revealed the most anticipating and
awaiting Flagship device of the year Mi 5 in MWC 2016 Barcelona. It’s been very
long time about after a 2-year wait Xiaomi Managed to launch Mi 5 but being so
late Mi 5 totally worth it. Here’s Why……

The company has packed some impressive specifications under
the hood as well as added some aesthetic improvements. Here are the top five
features in Xiaomi’s new flagship smartphone.
Hardware
Well this is the most important part of Xiaomi Mi 5 that’s
because of that only Xiaomi mi 5 has to face much delay and makes us waiting
and waiting…..  The Xiaomi Mi 5 is in the
fourth position of the latest Smartphone to be equipped by qualcomm snapdragon
820 processor chipset and Adreno 530 GPU which has been given best reviews in
the last 3 generations. The CPU is 200% faster and consumes 50% less power than
its predecessor, the Snapdragon 810.
Whatever you can probably think of, Qualcomm’s newest
chipset has it. This includes 4K video capture, playback, and external display
support; all cellular connectivity standards in operation plus the latest in
Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, and VoLTE standards; the Haven security technologies
suite with services such as SafeSwitch (theft prevention), Sense ID (3D
fingerprint tech), and StudioAccess (content protection). It’s the most
competent mobile chipset built to date, and its presence in most of this year’s
flagship Android phones, such as the Mi 5, is only appropriate.
Sony Camera

Other than Hardware, what’s make Mo 5 special and makes its
Stand out of crown is the latest Sony IMX298 16MP camera with high definition
sensor, PDAF autofocus and the the first ever deep trench isolation sensor
(DTI) which Xiaomi says will prevents light from leaking to give clean colour
separation. The camera also has high shutter speed and the first ever 4-axis
OIS which meaning that the phone can not only take high quality photos of
moving objects but also stabilises an image if your hands gets a little too
shaky.

DTI (deep trench isolation sensor) puts small, light-proof
dividers between pixels to prevent crosstalk and light from bleeding onto
nearby pixels, reducing color inaccuracy. It’s the most modern method
available, and it’s used by Apple in the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The Mi 5 supports 4K video recording. It also sports a
4-Ultrapixel front camera, with 2-micron pixels. Both cameras feature an f/2.0
aperture.
Design
As far as design is concerned, the Mi 5 has borrowed quite a
few elements from the Mi Note launched last year. With a thickness of only
7.52mm, Xiaomi has managed to keep the smartphone slim and also relatively
light (129 grams). It boasts what Xiaomi calls ‘Zirconium 3D ceramic body’ with
curved edges, which enables the ‘transition from glass to metal seamlessly’.
There are three colors to choose from — white, gold and black. Where the white
and black variants feature a polished finish, the gold variant features a
crisscrossed texture finish.
Connectivity
One of the talking points is the dual-SIM capabilities,
which is still something of a rarity among flagship devices. The Mi 5 also
features 4G LTE support with support for VoLTE, speeds up to 600Mbps and LTE-A.
It also has an IR Blaster, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and lastly full-feature NFC. In
other words, the Mi 5 is not only useful for making payment, but can also be
used for other sorts of transactions including ticket bookings and recharges. The
Mi 5 also uses UFS 2.0 storage, which according to the company, offers much
better performance than the standard eMMC storage.
Other feature – It comes with 5.1 inch Full HD Display with
an impressive 600 nits brightness. Xiaomi has launched three variants — 32GB
and 64GB storage variants with 3GB of RAM, and a 128GB storage variant with 4GB
of RAM. Xiaomi’s Mi 5 also features a 3,000mAh built-in battery along Quick
Charge 3.0, a fingerprint scanner up front
As per pricing, the mid-variant priced at 2,299 Yuan (Rs
24,100 approximately) features 64GB storage, and 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 chipset
paired with 3GB of RAM. Finally, the top model is priced at 2,699 Yuan (Rs
28,300 approximately), and it features 128GB storage and 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820
chipset paired with 4GB of RAM.
Recently we get to know, Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra revealed
yesterday that the phone will land in the neighboring country of India soon.
This will be followed by a release in “other global markets,” he
said. That’s a pretty good news as new Xiaomi Mi is just a few months away from
