LeEco (formerly Letv) has already launched their Letv 1s in India noe they are gearing to introduce LeTV 1s successor on April 20th. LeEco has already announced that the event will take place on said date, and the company’s VP has already shared some camera shots taken with the Le 2 handset.
Now that the phone has been network certified website TENAA, we can be sure that the launch is around the corner. The LeEco Le 2 packs some high-end specifications and comes with all metal body.
The LeEco Le 2 will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with MediaTek’s Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this smartphone, and on top of it, you’ll find LeEco’s custom UI
The 16-megapixel snapper will be located on the back of the device, and an 8-megapixel snapper will be available up front and a 3,000mAh battery will be included on the inside, and it will not be removable
According to the listing, the LeEco Le 2 (X621) measures 7.7 mm thickness and to achieve this type of thickness LeEco Le 2 skips the 3.5 mm audio port and features a common port that serves as charging port and audio port. So LeEco is following same path as Apple iPhone 7 which also supposed to skip the audio port that makes the device 1 mm slimmer than the current iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
LeEco planned to come with a common port for charging and audio jack. This step might act as a serious flaw for LeEco 2 considering the mid-segment were it is necessity for all young buyers to experiment with the new and latest earphone based upon their taste and are more music freak while if we talk about iPhone where most of buyers belong to business class people and they really doesn’t care about music jack
The device is expected to launch at the event scheduled on April 20th in Beijing, China. The device can be priced well with Rs 14,000 ($212) Do tell us would you still buy it without headphone jack or you want LeEco to give Audio jack in new letv 2, Drop yours comments below.
