Samsung Galaxy C-Series to be fueled by Snapdragon 617 & 4GB of Ram will be lighter in price

Well if you though that only Samsung Galaxy Note 6 spects can makes your eyes go wide open then wait until you here Samsung New C-Series spects which likely to place in mid-segment range with highly recommended spects and metal body in tow.

Samsung CM-C5000, the company’s upcoming C-Series smartphone surfaced in an import listing few weeks back. Now the smartphone has surfaced in Geekbench benchmark listing.

According to the listing, the Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) is listed with 4GB of RAM and the octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC (clocked at 1.5GHz). The operating system is Android 6.0.1, which is what we expect on every new device that Samsung launches in the future.

Also, SamMobile China has learned from its sources that the C series devices will feature thin metallic bodies, not unlike the Galaxy A8. Since it has a powerful processor, we expect it to feature 1080p display resolution.

Samsung is also working on SM-C7000 smartphone in the C-Series and the company might launch three variants in the series, similar to the Galaxy A series (A3, A5 and A7).

Previously, Zauba listing had revealed the SM-C5000's price tag Rs 13,625 ($205) while this represents the manufacturing cost while retail cost can go upto Rs 20,000 ($303) The Galaxy C series is expected to launch in May for the Chinese & Indian market.
