[Update] ZUK Z2 the real Flagship phone launched with SoC 820 & 6GB Ram for $417

Well everyone is quite busy with LeEco and its launch that no one notices much about ZUK Z2. ZUK is a China-based company backed by Lenovo. This company has been founded in May last year, and have released only one smartphone thus far, the ZUK Z1. The New ZUK Z2 is the real star with not only tops in specification but also with well-Design metallic body.

Previously, Xiaomi Mi 5 has been crowned with the ugliest design due its Home button present at front but this is not a case with ZUK Z2 as it has been crafted like perfectionist does it doesn’t look ugly from anywhere.

The ZUK Z2 Pro sports a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080, 424 PPI) Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC fuels the ZUK Z2 Pro, along with the Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. You get the option like 4GB / 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is called ‘Standard Edition’, while the highest-end model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is referred to as the ‘Exclusive Edition’

The technology used in the camera segment is at par, The phone comes with both OIS and EIS, so dual image stabilization. There is a 13MP rear camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 1.34 micron pixel size and pixel isolation technology support. The rear cam supports 4K video recording. As for the front camera, you get an 8MP 1.4 micron sensor with f/2.0 and support for heartrate check. Yes, this is not a mistake, as the ZUK Z2 Pro is probably the first smartphone that can identify your heart rate using the front camera. I know after hearing this yours heart has fallen in love with this phone.

The Z2 Pro claims to be the first fingerprint-enabled phone to work with wet hands. The company has used a self-learning algorithm to ensure that recognition improves with time. The main USP of the phone is that it’s come with 10 different professional sensors. Here’s the list:  gravity sensor, 3-axis gyroscope, three-axis magnetic sensor, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, heart rate, blood oxygen sensor, a pressure sensor, ultraviolet sensors, and Hall Effect sensor. With the help of the company’s health app, you should be able to keep a thorough check on your body.

Other features are USB Type-C 3.1, QC 3.0, full netcom 3.0 standard, 4G+ VoLTE, and international roaming. The phone will run on the new ZUK 2.0 system with iCloud which can backup all your data for safe restore at a later time. Inside, you have a 3100mAh capacity battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The good part of this phone it dosent comes with hefty price tag. The 6GB + 128GB ROM variant will go on sale for just Rs 27,000 ($416). Well the India launch has been confirmed along with Z1 there no specific date is given but what shows up is the ZUK website with a tagline that says, "small actions = big chances." [Update] Recently ZUK has finally launched the 4GB/64GB Variant of ZUK Z2 powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 chipset inside it rest the feature are same as 6GB Version, the company says there is a new internal heat conduction technology that prevents the ZUK Z2 from overheating. Now ZUK Z2 has become the cheapest SD820 Smartphone for Rs 18,400 ($278) and it will be surely coming soon, as ZUK having recently made its debut in India, the ZUK Z2 could arrive here sooner than later.
