LeEco had made a comeback with Le 2 and Le Max2 smartphones in India. At its 2Future event in Delhi, along with the Le Max 2, the company also launched the LeEco Le 2 phablet in India. One of the key highlights of these smartphones is the full metal unibody design, Qualcomm’s Sense ID ultrasonic fingerprint scanner at the back but what matter most is that you can get new Le 2 for Re 1.
The Re 1 deal for the LeEco Le 2 is only limited to the first 300 buyers, I repeat only 300 buyers and the availability will be based on first-come-first-serve basis. Though LeEco Le Max 2 and Le 2 will be available from 20th June on Flipkart and LeMall.com, registrations on lemall.com begins on June 15 at 12:00PM.
The smartphone features a unibody metal design, and has ditched the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of a USB Type-C port which is sad instead they brought up their own USB Type-C CDLA headphone that cost you about Rs 1,999. LeEco has worked to add CDLA (Continual Digital Loseless Audio) technology to offer users with high-quality uncompressed audio listening experience.
It flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Also on offer is 32GB internal memory, but with no microSD card slot you won’t be able to expand the storage.
On the photography front, the Le 2 is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with 1.4μm large pixels. The smartphone boasts a fingerprint scanner placed below the rear camera, which not only unlocks the screen but also offers an added layer of security.
The specifications sheet also includes a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under EUI 5.8.
The Le 2 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 11,999, the Le Max2 will set you back by Rs 22,999. LeEco has also launched the other variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage, which will set you back by Rs 29,999.
