Here's the first look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 7

No there is no Mistake in title, yes we are talking about Note 7 only the successor of Note 5 Well, yes, that's the logical progression of the Note lineup, but rumors have been flying around that Sammy could skip the "6" and jump straight to "7"

A new leak surfaced quite recently, once again courtesy of @OnLeaks (in partnership with uSwitch), the same source which shared the short teaser video with us earlier today. @OnLeaks claims that this is the regular Galaxy Note 7, and that the Galaxy Note 7 Edge might not even arrive at all. Alongside the image, there’s also a very short video seemingly showing the real device here.

You can clearly see that there is a USB-C port next to the S-Pen slot down below, indicating that Samsung is finally ready to ditch microUSB for good. Other than that, the Note 7 should sport the usual array of specs we would more or less expect it to have; water resistance, a QHD AMOLED display, an up-to-4000mAh battery and perhaps even 6GB of RAM.

The physical home button is located below the display, as always, and it will double as a fingerprint scanner. Samsung will once again use the combination of metal and glass in order to manufacture this device, which turned out to be a good thing in the past. The combination of glass and metal accommodates the display, here said to be again between 5.7 and 5.8 inches, with everything else following the S7/Note 5’s blueprint.

Samsung might opt to release both the Snapdragon 823 and Exynos 8890 variants of this device, at least according to rumors. A recent report claimed that the device will launch in August, and the August 15th has been mentioned
