Xiaomi has launched its supermassive yet stylish Mi Max phablet in the Indian market. The Mi Max blurs the lines between a smartphone and a tablet. While the company claims it is the biggest phone and much more juicy battery from Xiaomi so far.
The Mi Max has a giant 6.44-inch 1080p display & will be available in two variants, a Snapdragon 650 variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and a Snapdragon 652 variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, both can be expandable via MicroSD card.
On the photography front, the Mi Max is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 along with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. Up front, there is a 5-megpaixel camera with beautify 85-degrees wide-angle selfie camera for photos and video calling, same as Redmi Note 3.
It has a metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the back. In terms of connectivity, the Mi Max features 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS and Bluetooth. The Mi Max runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will soon receive MIUI 8.

The Mi Max is equipped with a 4,850mAh battery, which the company says is decent enough to offer full day talktime and lasts 20 percent more than the Redmi Note 3. It also includes Qualcomm’s Quick Charge support to quickly charge the device.
The entry-level Mi Max with 32GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM is priced at Rs 14,999($222). On the other hand, the Snapdragon 652 powered Mi Max with 128GB storage and 4GB of RAM costs Rs 19,999($296). The smartphone is available in silver, gold and dark grey color variants.
