The Moto Z Force Droid was already rated Second best smartphone cameras in town after HTC 10 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge but Moto is currently looking for top spot.
As leaked before, there is still one, or two, official Moto Mod missing from the first batch that Lenovo and Moto unveiled in June. That is the "Pro" camera mod, which is now leaked to be called the "True Zoom Camera" mod and is being made by famed camera and lens maker Hasselblad.
Hasselblad, a German camera manufacturer best known for making the cameras used for NASA’s Apollo space program, is rumored to be putting out a professional grade modular camera accessory for the Moto Z – that is, a Hasselblad camera Moto Mod. Hasselblad are also the one who manufacture the camera for Royal Vertu Smartphone which are most expensive smartphone on earth.
According to this leaked image, the camera module will include true optical zoom of up to 10x, a xenon flash, a physical shutter, and will even support for RAW photos. Of course, we don’t have all the technical details that will give us the specs for the module, an important requisite for professional digital photographers.
There is still no date of release and price details but we hope those will be released in coming weeks. The fact that Lenovo is going with a brand already known for it’s camera prowess will help sell this mod. This move is also similar to Huawei’s joint collaboration with German optics manufacturer, Leica.
