Xiaomi Redmi 3s launched in India: Price, specifications and its Real Life Camera Samples

Today Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S
Prime in India after making their fans wait
which seems like over a Decade ago. Xiaomi introduced the concept of premium
affordable smartphones with this line-up and Redmi 1s was the first ever phone
to bring out the revolutionary change in the
budget phone with 1GB Ram and 720p HD
Display which was very rare to find in those days.

In terms of design, the phone has rounded edges and corners,
which can make it a little slippery and crafted as same as Redmi Note 3 Design.
The phone features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon
430 SoC and Redmi 3s is the first one to support this chipset.
It comes in two variants – a 16GB version that comes with
2GB of RAM but no fingerprint sensor and a 32GB version that comes with 3GB of
RAM as well as a fingerprint sensor, which is called the Redmi 3s Prime. Both
the one comes with MicroSD expandable slots upto
128GB.
The device also features 13MP camera at the back with PDAF,
while at the front is a 5MP camera. Like the Redmi Note 3, the Redmi 3s also
comes with a hybrid dual-SIM. It features a larger 4100mAh battery, which the
company claims to last up to two days with moderate use. Other connective
includes 4G LTE, 3G Wifi, GPS, etc and comes with IR Blaster.

On the OS front, the Redmi 3s runs on MIUI 7 on top of
Android Marshmallow. This comes as a disappointment for those who were
expecting MIUI 8 Global for Redmi 3s most likely those who purchased from a re-seller.
The Redmi 3s is priced at Rs 6,999 while the Redmi 3s Prime
costs Rs 8,999. The Redmi 3s Prime will go on sale on August 9 on Mi.com and
