Say Hello to the New Apple iPhone 7 which comes with lot of new changes, some subtle, some major ones. In a glitzy event, Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the much awaited iPhone 7 inside the packed Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California on September 7.

The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus look like great devices, just like their predecessors. The new camera and processor should make noticeable differences, even if the camera and performance of previous iPhones were already top-tier offerings. The upgrades that we saw from Apple on new iPhone 7 were the same iterative upgrades we've seen for the past two years, but there are some noticeable changes that we will see it further

Apple comes dressed in all new colour to match your Style

Apple now has two black offerings - Jet Black and just Black, as well as Gold, Silver and Rose gold.

The iPhone 7 comes with new & powerful A10 Fusion Chipset

The two iPhone 7 handsets are powered by the new quad-core Apple A10 Fusion processor with 64-bit four core CPU. The processor has two high performance cores and two high efficiency cores for a longer battery life. It also has a new 6-core GPU which is 50% faster than the Apple A9 processor. It is for the first time Apple introduces four processing cores in its phones.

No headphone jack in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus as usual. Gone are the days of 3.5mm jack

The headphone jack is gone, just as rumored. Now, plugging headphones will happen through the lightning port only. Of course, you could go wireless with a pair of Bluetooth headphones, too. In tune with the speculations, the new iPhone did kill the 3.5-mm audio jack. Though the rumours said this would happen, this new development is still going to come as a shock to millions of ordinary iPhone users.

Apple includes new EarPod headphones with lightning cable in the retail box as well as a 3.5mm to Lightning port adapter.

The iPhone 7 keeps its 4.7" Retina display while iPhone 7 pus measure at 5.5inch Retina Display. However, it's now 25% brighter and sports a wider color gamut.

Apple is going above and beyond the extra mile with its new iPhone 7 display calibration, offering a mode that covers the cinematic P3 color gamut. That is a step above Adobe RGB even, not to mention the standard RGB gamut, so the display can offer way more vivid colors than what we have now, making it futureproof.

Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have upgraded cameras. iPhone 7 has a 12 megapixel sensor that is claimed to be 60% faster. iPhone 7 also has a quad-LED flash with 50% light output, and can detect for the imperceptible flickering of energy efficient lights. Each camera on iPhone 7 has a different focal length, allowing users to pick between shooting photos with a wide-angle or a telephoto lens. The iPhone 7 Plus will also be able to do some software tricks using those two different focal lengths.

It is worth noting that while the iPhone 7 features a single 12MP rear camera, the larger screen variant comes with two 12MP rear camera with 2x optical zooming capability upto 56mm. Both sport a 7MP FaceTime camera for selfies and video chats.

The front camera has also been upgraded from the 6s Plus shooter, now featuring 7 MP resolution, larger pixels, and wide color reproduction.

With iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the company is bidding goodbye to 16GB as base storage. The new iPhones will come in three variants -- 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. Here 256GB is the new addition, and as always there is no expandable storage.

Pricing of the iPhone 7 in the US starts at $649 for the base 32GB model. The 128GB variant costs $749 and the 256GB - $849.

In Europe, the iPhone 7 will retail for €759 for the 32GB variant. You'll have to shell out €869 for the 128GB model and €979 for the 256GB one.

In India, it said to arrive on October 7 for the price of Rs 63,000 for 32GB Variant.
