Hugo unroll the new Xiaomi Amazfit Sports Smartwatch that cost just $120

Xiaomi portfolio company Huami recently just released its brand new Amazfit Sports Smartwatch which comes with pretty good features and reasonable price. Today Hugo Barra showcase us the unboxing of beautiful Amazfit Sports Smartwatch.

He also writes “I like how sleek and minimalist the watch face is, and can't wait to put this guy through its paces. The 280 mAh battery lasts anywhere between 5 to 11 days depending on type of usage (which is impressive for a smartwatch).

It's also the first smartwatch to come with a 28nm GPS sensor, so pretty excited to take it on a spin on my Ninebot”

As for the features, the Huami Amazfit Sports Smartwatch comes with 320 x 300 pixel resolution and a 28nm GPS inside which is the first Smartwatch to do so and features a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Huami has designed the watch to be able to store up to 500 songs which you can listen to via a pair of Bluetooth earphones.

You can use the heart rate sensor and GPS for 35 hours, which is pretty good. On regular usage, which includes frequent notifications throughout the day, as Hugo says, the watch will last for 5 days and if you are using it as a standard watch, it will last for around 11 days. Not bad for a smartwatch!

There is no news about Global launch or specific India launch but considering it price of Rs 7,999 ($120) it definitely a worthy Smartwatch. Take a close look of new Amazfit Sports Smartwatch in pictures.
