Xiaomi Mi 5s Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner feature & pricing leaked

Xiaomi Mi5 already getting Stiffed competition from OnePlus 3, therefore, Xiaomi Recently made a price cut to lure more people for Mi5 but things could change soon for Xiaomi with Mi 5s launch which has all the ability to push OnePlus 3 sales back.

Xiaomi Mi 5s to feature a new ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Manufactured by Qualcomm and bringing new features, the ultrasonic scanner can be said to be the third generation of fingerprint recognition technology. And the Mi 5s will be the first phone in the world to sport it.

The thing which differs the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner from the current Gen Fingerprint Scanner, The scanner works under a variety of materials including glass and aluminium its new sensor will accurately read your prints if your hand is wet or covered in sweat or grease. You can tap anywhere you like and can unlock your device instantly whether on glass or aluminium back it doesn’t require any fixed point like today's phone.

Under the hood, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core chipset clocked at 2.4GHz, which will be paired with Adreno 530 GPU. The smartphone is also expected to come with 6GB of RAM and internal storage of 256GB. On the photography front, the Mi 5s will likely sport a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4-axis optical image stabilization (OIS). It could be powered by a 3,490mAh battery along with Qualcomm’s Fast Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity option expected include USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11.

Xiaomi Mi 5s could be the 'value for money' champion. The 5S will reportedly retail for CNY 1,999, (Rs 20,000), [$299] at the current exchange rates. For this amount of cash you'll get the SD821 chip, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

Another model called Mi 5S Plus will be priced at CNY 2,999 ($449, €401), and this will sport a 5.7-inch QHD display, 6GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, while retaining the SD821 SoC of course. Since the Mi 5 uses a 5.15" screen, we assume that might be the size of the Mi 5S' display too, perhaps with the same 1080p resolution. While the launch is just few days away on Sep 27 we will likely to see Mi 5s making out.
