Mobile World Congress is quite a hit with the unveiling of Nokia Android Smartphone and the iconic Nokia 3310 along with the Stylish Sony Xperia XZ Premium but we really quite missing the real start in MWC that is the Samsung Galaxy S8 but not anymore because the Galaxy S8 has come out from the smog completely to make its first appearance.
Over the past few months, we have seen a ton of leaks and rumors focused on Samsung’s Galaxy S8 but this seems to be the clearest of all time new images that reportedly show the smaller 5.8-inch model have hit the internet.
The new Galaxy S8 lineup will be ditching the Home button with fingerprint Scanner on the back side. The Galaxy S8 highlighted by a curved AMOLED display and glass that slopes down on either side of the phone.
Above the screen lies an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and the iris scanner that was first introduced on the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7. Samsung Galaxy S8 to be powered by new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset along with 4GB Ram and 256GB Internal Storage.
The two sides of the Galaxy S8 are also seen in these leaks. While one side shows what looks like the traditional volume and power buttons, the other side shows a ‘Mysterious button’ BGR speculates it could be used to access the phone’s new Bixby voice-command digital assistant.
A 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera fitted on the back of the Galaxy S8 alongside the flash and sensor array, as well as a newly relocated fingerprint scanner. It’s good to see 3.5mm headphone jack on the Galaxy S8 along with its USB Type-C port and a speaker, both phones will be IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.
Samsung to unveil the new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ during a press conference in New York City on March 29th, and the phones are expected to launch globally on April 21st.
