As we told you about the return of Galaxy Note 7R – Refurbished Version and soon after that we got the chance to look at the first Glimpse of the Galaxy Note 8. Now, we might actually be getting an early look at its successor.

A new image was posted to Slashleaks, claiming to be some version of the Galaxy Note 8. The picture does not provide any product details and source, which casts doubt on its legitimacy. The device is quite similar to the Galaxy S8+ and well it’s no surprise as Samsung already confirmed that the Note 8 will be similar to Galaxy S8 in terms of design.

The device in the picture comes along with Samsung’s S Pen and feature more square dimensions at the edges, something we saw on the Note 7. However, without getting a good look at the bottom of the device to check if there’s a slot for the Pen, there’s no way to know if it’s actually a Note prototype.

According to the latest information cited by The Investor, it looks like the Note 8 is going to be marginally larger than the Galaxy S8+, standing in at 6.4 inches. Thanks to the smaller number of bezels that Samsung is aiming for, not to mention incorporating its lovely Infinity Display, the device will look smaller than the rest of the competition, allowing for a one-handed use in a comfortable manner.

Other features include a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 9000-series processor, 6GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of built-in storage. The Galaxy Note 8, a follow-up device for the ill-fated Note 7 isn’t expected to be released until the end of 2017. What sorts of upgrades do you wishing to see on the Galaxy Note 8? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
