Yes you heard it right Xiaomi is making its debut Latin America by officially entering in Mexico. Interestingly Xiaomi is starting their career in North America by selling Redmi note 4 and Redmi 4x later on.
Well, for the Mexico people out there you can get it from Coppel, Best Buy and Sam’s Club stores when it is stocked towards the end of May and as well as on Amazon, Best Buy, Soriana, Elektra, and Walmart.
Here’s Xiaomi didn’t go out with Flagship killer phone like Mi 6 but with the budget segment phone like Redmi Note 4 for 5,499 MXN ($287) but also with smaller yet powerful Redmi 4x for 3,999 MXN, ($209), and others in the future.
In addition to the devices, Xiaomi is bringing its Mi Community app to Mexico. It’s a great way to Mi fans to keep track of news, launches, and offers regarding Xiaomi and Xiaomi also said it plans to expand it to other Latin American markets soon.
“Mexico is a really important market for us and acts as our starting point to reach the rest of Latin America,” Donovan Sung, director of product management and marketing at Xiaomi, said in a statement.
Xiaomi stepping in Mexico proves that Xiaomi is pretty serious about reaching to US fan base and after entering in North America we can say that the US is not so far away for Xiaomi.
