Its really happening, Freedom 251 real retail-unit spotted, sale start from June 30

As we have reported you in our previous article about
Ringing Bells next project which is the Cheapest LED TV and now we get another
round of Information about Freedom 251 and this time we let picture do the
talking for you.
The device was seen & reported by IANS. According to media reports (IANS), the
company’s founder and CEO Mohit Goel says that the Rs 251 phone will start
shipping soon and he has kept his promise to his consumers. He said that almost
2 lakh Freedom 251 smartphones are ready and delivery will start June 30
onwards, as promised. He also said that the website will soon open for more

The New device looks totally different from what we have seen in the event or
in media reports that’s because the smartphone shown at the unveiling event in
Delhi was belongs to Adcom as its  having
a home/back button at the front but the actual device seen by IANS didn’t had
that design. Actually the real device is having 3 regular capacitive buttons
i.e. the Recent Apps, Home & Back button.

The smartphone closely resembles the Motorola Moto E. The
rear panel can be seen with a light printed ‘Freedom’ branding and comes with
Flash that only cost more than Rs 251 and you are getting a phone in that
price. Also, Ringing Bells ditched the iOS icons in favor of Android-themed
Goel previously told the Times of India that his company had
partnered with a number of software firms to place their apps on the phone,
with that revenue allowing Ringing Bells to sell the device that low. However
Ringing Bells is still facing a loss of about 140 to 150 rupees per unit, and
is seeking help from government. It is
not clear if he ever got it.
The Freedom 251 unit which will ship to consumers reportedly
features 4Inch Display, a 1.3GHz processor from an unnamed chipset maker, 1GB
of RAM & 8GB of internal storage with a 3.2MP main camera with LED flash, a
VGA front snapper, a 1,450 mAh batter and Android Lollipop. All this for Rs 251
($4) still unbelievable. So did you like New Freedom 251, Drop Your comment below
