Lenovo Z2 Plus received major price cut ahead of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 launch


Interestingly, Lenovo has announced a price cut for the Z2 Plus smartphone ahead of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 launch in India, this will surely make the Road-tough for Redmi Note 4 of achieving the top spot in the Smartphone industry just like its successor.

the Lenovo Z2 Plus will be available in India at a starting price Rs. 14,999 (for the 32GB model), down from the launch price of Rs. 17,999 – a price cut of Rs. 3,000, while 64GB variant gets Rs 2,500 price cut bringing the price tag down to Rs 17,499. If that wasn’t tempting enough, Amazon India is also offering exchange bonus and easy EMI options for buyers.

With this Price cut, it has become the most affordable smartphones in India, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor.

The Z2 Plus flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1080p) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It also features 3GB of RAM for the 32GB variant, 4GB RAM for 64GB variant.

It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED flash, and electronic image stabilization (EIS). It bears an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus is powered by a 3500mAh battery that also features an intelligent charge cut-off feature to ensure the battery does not overcharge. Connectivity options on board include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and 4G, USB Type-C port. The Z2 Plus runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the company’s skin atop and also features Google Now Launcher which is preloaded.
