Google to launch not 2 but 3 Pixel smartphones all powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC

When all others brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Sony blazing their guns out with full force in terms of launching their flagship device like Galaxy S8, Mi 6, etc then why does Google lack behind. If reports are to be believed then Google is planning for a big Comeback as Google said to be working on not two, but three Pixel devices.

The Biggest news is this that all the three Pixel devices will be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. The flagship chipset now powers the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and even the recently launched Xiaomi Mi 6.

While other brands fell safe or satisfied by launching one or two flagship devices and here Google planning to launch three flagship devices with powerful Snapdragon 835 processor to beat all the competitions.

The smartphones have been spotted by on the Android Open Source Project, and it also confirms the codenames for the upcoming Pixel smartphones – Walleye, Muskie, and Taimen. While Walleye and Muskie are not new to the rumor mill, a new device codenamed Muskie has now been spotted. The Muskie is said to be the successor to the original Pixel, while Walleye will be the 2017 iteration of the Pixel XL. Interestingly, the third device codenamed Taimen is speculated to be the successor to the Nexus 6.

If reports are to be believed, the Next Nexus device will come with a display that is even bigger than the Pixel XL. Apart from that, previous rumors suggest that Google would be ditching the 3.5mm audio jack in the Pixel 2 series just like iPhone 7. The devices will be the first phones that will no doubt run on Android O 8.0 out-of-the-box.
