Xiaomi 5X to be launched under new Lanmi brand, Dual camera & upto 6GB of Ram

Xiaomi 5X will be the first Smartphone to be launch under the Lanmi brand in the offline market to take on Oppo and Vivo in China.

Although Xiaomi is rising in the online Smartphone Market, the story in the offline market is pretty much different that because a currently offline market is domain by Vivo and Oppo whether in China or India. Xiaomi is looking to conquer the offline market too with its magical Xiaomi device dubbed as “Xiaomi 5X”

A new Xiaomi smartphone has been spotted in a poster image. The poster reveals some specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The Xiaomi 5X will be the first smartphone to launch under new “Lanmi” brand.

The leak reveals – a 5.5-inch display probably Full HD resolution, powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC and while RAM is 4GB. It reported coming with two models while higher model comes with Snapdragon 660 and upto 6GB of Ram and 64GB of Storage. The Xiaomi 5X is rumored to come with a front-mounted fingerprint reader.

According to the poster, the Xiaomi X5 will come with a dual camera setup. The Leaks state that it will be a 12-megapixel dual camera system that will be featuring a Sony IMX386 sensor and a Samsung S5k3m3 sensor with 5x optical zoom support. For selfie you’ll get the 16MP shooter. It would be preloaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The smartphone is likely to launch in gold and black color variants for about Rs 20,000 ($295).  The new Lanmi brand is said to be different from the current Xiaomi Redmi series and will tackle the like of Vivo and Oppo. It is stated to be launched on July 26 in China.
