Apple iPhone X has been launched with its all-screen OLED display design, Face ID Technology, Anomoji and more
Apple has launched its new iPhone X, which has been pronounced as “iPhone ten – The future of Smartphone” The iPhone X comes with stunning all screen display and to achieve that Apple has ditched the traditional physical home button for the first time ever.
The Star attraction of the Apple event was the iPhone X which looks to be amazing with the glass back, steel frames, an edge-to-edge display and more gorgeous without the Home button.
The biggest talking points of the iPhone X is its all-screen OLED display design, that too for the first time. The Apple iPhone X comes with 5.8 inches with Super Retina display and curved glass on top, were you’ll find all the necessary sensors. There are some new changes done as for Multitasking users will need to swipe from the bottom edge, and hold for a second for other running apps to appear.
Apple iPhone X is powered by Apple’s latest A11 Bionic chipset which is a beast has its own dedicated neural engine that makes Siri more smarter and equipped with 3GB Ram along with 64GB and 256GB Internal storage. It also brings new AR experience.
The Dual Lens camera comes in a pair of 12Mp camera wide angle lens with f/1.8 aperture and another 12Mp camera with the telephoto lens with f/2.2 aperture. Apple Portrait Mode from last year has now become Portrait Lighting. This new feature will enhance portrait photography using AI for a better result. The positioning of Dual camera really reminds of the Traffic lights, why they need to tilt it? Why Apple Why
There’s more of it, the iPhone X rear cameras can shoot 4K videos at up to 60fps and Slo-mo videos up to 240fps. Other features include Panorama images up to 63-megapixel, Sapphire crystal lens cover etc. On the front, there is 7MP Camera.
The things which make Apple different from others are that they don’t hesitate to change things which they eventually think is necessary to change for the future benefits of Apple users, they are not really scared of flipping the coin and Face ID technology is the best example of it. Last Time Apple ditched the 3.5mm audio jack and this time they ditch the fingerprint authentication system. The iPhone X uses the Face ID instead. Face ID is facial recognition based biometric authentication mechanism. The Face ID sensor is placed under the curved panel at the top of the display.
In Face ID, Your Face is your original password. Here the front camera create an algorithmic image of your face for authentication and unlocks your device pretty fast, it can work in a night or in the Dark flawlessly with Beard on, Glass on anything you throw on your face expect a hard surface Bowling Pan Oouch! That’s hurt
Anomoji – The New Face ID sensor also helps you to build Animoji which is a combination of animation and emojis. It uses depth-sensing or IR sensor along with the FaceTime camera to bring emojis to life with your own Recorded Voice. It also comes with Qi wireless charging.
The iPhone X is priced at $999 (Rs 89,000 in India) for 64GB Version and $1149(Rs 1,03,000) for 256GB Version. The Pre-orders will be open October 27 and will start shipping on November 3. Anyone have spare Kidney left do let me know in the comments.
